From my hometown of Kyiv, Ukraine, my childhood was shaped by weeks-long caving expeditions with a local children’s caving club. I would look across the landscape and wonder what had formed the caves below and the terrain above. That curiosity gradually grew into a desire to understand the world from every angle - how ecosystems function, how communities live within them, and how enterprises serve those communities.

This led me to work and study in over 20 countries. My latest engagement is on the intersection of R&D and business development in rural eastern North Carolina.
